The potential collaboration between Sabah and Japan was discussed during a luncheon with Japan Ambassador to Malaysia, Takahashi Katsuhiko. The minister expressed enthusiasm about fostering closer ties with Japan and organizing a business forum to explore collaboration opportunities and attract potential investors to Sabah. The discussion focused on potential collaboration between Sabah and Japan in industrial development and investments. Japanese Consul-General in Kota Kinabalu, Yamashita Yoshito, was also present during the discussions.
