Aspen Technology, a global leader in industrial software, has announced its commitment to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The company aims to achieve this by reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions to net-zero by 2030 and significantly reducing Scope 3 emissions by 2030. AspenTech plans to reach full net-zero emissions by 2045. The company’s CEO, Antonio Pietri, stated that AspenTech has a history of partnering with asset-intensive industries and is now committing to its own net-zero target to tackle climate change. AspenTech is developing a plan to achieve its targets, which will be submitted within the next 24 months.
